“Their sins and lawless deeds

I will remember no more.”

HEBREWS 10:17 (NKJV)

Jesus didn’t just forgive your sin — He washed it away as if it never existed. That means you can look in the mirror and see who God says you are, not what the world says about you, not what your past says, and not what guilt or shame tries to tell you. When you confessed your sin, God was faithful and just to cleanse you of all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9) So if He washed you clean, the only one trying to make you feel dirty is the devil and his lies. You are not the same person you were before you accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior. You’re a brand-new creation — old things have passed away and all things have become new. (2 Corinthians 5:17)

Did you know that, from the moment you are born again, you have the ability to share the gospel? But if you don’t believe you’re forgiven and clean, you’ll struggle to share from a place of freedom. If I believe I’m still dirty, I’ll preach with a sin-conscious mindset. But I’m not dirty. I’m blood-bought and Spirit-filled. (1 Peter 1:18-19 & Ephesians 5:18)

God cleansed my mind, will, and emotions from all guilt, shame, and condemnation. He healed me. I’m not a product of my past. I’m a product of His blood. God healed me from bipolar disorder, borderline schizophrenia, addiction, and torment. I had a lifetime subscription to issues — but Jesus canceled it by His blood.

You have to see your value to walk in the power of the gospel. You are worth the blood of Jesus. Heaven didn’t pay a cheap price for you — the highest price was paid. God so loved the world that He gave His only Son. That’s your value. That’s your identity. That’s your freedom.

When you understand this — fear loses its voice. Shame loses its grip. Condemnation loses its power. When you see the power of the blood, you won’t allow the past to speak louder than the Cross. You are loved. You are forgiven. You are free.

Prayer

Jesus, thank You for Your blood that declares I am forgiven, clean, and loved. Help me to see my value through Your eyes. I refuse guilt, shame, and condemnation. I receive my identity as a child of God. Amen.

Challenge for Today

Every time a lie from your past tries to speak to you today, declare out loud:
“I’m not who I used to be — I’m forgiven and free by the blood of Jesus!”

Bless you,
