--- title: Devotional | Knowing You’ve Been Forgiven description: True faith isn’t just about hearing—it’s about doing. In this powerful reflection on James 1:22 and the Parable of the Talents, Todd White challenges believers to move from knowledge to obedience, surrendering fully to Jesus and living with purpose, purity, and power. image: https://media.lifestylechristianity.com/hubfs/Artboard%2037Knowing%20Your%20Forgiven.png --- [Skip to content](https://media.lifestylechristianity.com/todd_white_devotionals/devotional-knowing-youve-been-forgiven#main-content) [![Lifestyle Christianity](https://media.lifestylechristianity.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Artboard%202-1.png?width=800&height=635&name=Artboard%202-1.png)Homepage](https://lifestylechristianity.com/) - [Devotionals](https://media.lifestylechristianity.com/todd_white_devotionals) [Give](https://lifestylechristianity-bloom.kindful.com/) - [Devotionals](https://media.lifestylechristianity.com/todd_white_devotionals) [Give](https://lifestylechristianity-bloom.kindful.com/) ![Knowing You've Been Forgiven](https://media.lifestylechristianity.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Artboard%2037Knowing%20Your%20Forgiven.png?width=1200&height=630&name=Artboard%2037Knowing%20Your%20Forgiven.png) knowing you've been forgiven # Devotional | Knowing You’ve Been Forgiven ![Todd White](https://media.lifestylechristianity.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Artboard%20192.png?width=48&height=48&name=Artboard%20192.png) Todd White September 15, 2025 As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us. **PSALM 103:12 (NKJV)**   … “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!” **JOHN 1:29 (NKJV)**   There’s a problem in the Body of Christ. People have told me, “Todd, the reason you love so much is because of how much you’ve been forgiven.” Nope. Here’s the reason I love so much: **because I KNOW how much I’ve been forgiven. I believe it.** The Church is stuck in a place of believing she is still guilty, shameful, and deserves condemnation — and wishing someone would make it go away. But the Good News is this: The blood of Jesus didn’t just forgive your sins. The blood of Jesus *removed* them as if they had *never happened.* When you see that — when you finally choose to actually believe that — you pledge allegiance to the King of kings. This King doesn’t forgive only — He *removes* and *forgets* as if you never did it. God sees you through the lens of His Son, King Jesus.  He sees you as clean as the blood of Jesus has made you. This is where the Church has missed it. We think we’re still damaged goods — still dragging our past behind us like baggage. But when Jesus paid for sin, He didn’t just cover it — He *cancelled* it. You’re not a sinner saved by grace; **you’re a *saint* who’s been made *righteous.*** The devil wants you living under shame. God wants you living *free.* You’ll never live in boldness if you don’t believe you’ve been made new. And if you accept the sacrifice that Jesus made on the Cross for you and confess that He is Lord of your life, you are made new. Walk in this truth today! 🟡 **Challenge for Today:**Ask yourself: “Do I *really* believe I’ve been completely forgiven?” If guilt, shame, or condemnation are still holding on — renounce them out loud. Speak this truth today: “I am *clean*. I am *new*. I am *free*.” Love you, Todd White ## Share this post [mailto:https%3A%2F%2Fmedia.lifestylechristianity.com%2Ftodd_white_devotionals%2Fdevotional-knowing-youve-been-forgiven](mailto:https%3A%2F%2Fmedia.lifestylechristianity.com%2Ftodd_white_devotionals%2Fdevotional-knowing-youve-been-forgiven) ## Keep reading ### [![](https://media.lifestylechristianity.com/hs-fs/hubfs/DEVO%20WideMade%20New.png?width=1200&height=630&name=DEVO%20WideMade%20New.png) live like you've been made new Devotional | Live Like You’ve Been Made New](https://media.lifestylechristianity.com/todd_white_devotionals/devotional-live-like-youve-been-made-new) ### [![](https://media.lifestylechristianity.com/hs-fs/hubfs/DEVO%20Widedevo.png?width=1200&height=630&name=DEVO%20Widedevo.png) radical generosity changes everything Devotional | Radical Generosity Changes Everything](https://media.lifestylechristianity.com/todd_white_devotionals/devotional-radical-generosity-changes-everything) [![LC_Horizontal_Logo_Black](https://media.lifestylechristianity.com/hs-fs/hubfs/LC_Horizontal_Logo_Black.png?width=300&height=62&name=LC_Horizontal_Logo_Black.png "LC_Horizontal_Logo_Black")](https://lifestylechristianity.com/) EXPLORE • CONNECT • ENGAGE [MINISTRY SCHOOL](https://lifestylechristianityu.com/) [WORSHIP ACADEMY | LCU](https://lifestylechristianityu.com/worship-academy/) [MERCH & ONLINE STORE](https://lifestylechristianitystore.com/) [GIVE & INVEST IN ETERNITY](https://lifestylechristianity.com/give/) [BECOME A PARTNER](https://lifestylechristianity.com/giantslayers/) [INVITE TODD TO SPEAK](https://lifestylechristianity.com/booking/) [HOST A POWER + LOVE](https://lifestylechristianity.churchcenter.com/people/forms/465136) --- *© 2025 Lifestyle Christianity.* All rights reserved. | [Privacy Policy · Legal](https://lifestylechristianity.com/privacy-policy/)  ```json { "@context" : "https://schema.org", "@type" : "BlogPosting", "author" : { "@type" : "Person", "name" : "Todd White", "url" : "https://media.lifestylechristianity.com/todd_white_devotionals/author/todd-white" }, "dateModified" : "2025-09-15T20:52:41.890Z", "datePublished" : "2025-09-15T20:52:41.000Z", "headline" : "Devotional | Knowing You’ve Been Forgiven", "image" : [ "https://media.lifestylechristianity.com/hubfs/Artboard%2037Knowing%20Your%20Forgiven.png" ], "mainEntityOfPage" : { "@id" : "https://media.lifestylechristianity.com/todd_white_devotionals/devotional-knowing-youve-been-forgiven", "@type" : "WebPage" }, "publisher" : { "@type" : "Organization", "logo" : { "@type" : "ImageObject", "url" : "https://media.lifestylechristianity.com/hubfs/Artboard%205-1.png" } } } ```
